Ultrasonic Microscope
The AM 1103 microscope was developed for the non-destructive examination of internal industrial samples with ultrasound. The microscope has a compact design and a wide application field in the field of 2D and 3D data analysis.
Mechanic scanner:
Provides exact movement and positioning of the acoustic lens in a volume of 100 x 150 x 50 mm with a repeatability not less than 2μm in the X and Y axis as well as not worse than 0.2μm in the Z axis
Acustic transducer:
Typically, the microscope operates with spherical-focused transducers with a frequency range between 5 and 400 MHz. The system also works with cylindrically-focused transducers for anisotropic measurements and flat transducers for measurements on layer structures.
